ACCOMMODATION Options

4 Room Lodge

The original 1882 building infamously became the Spritzer Bar, a saloon bought by Martin Spritzer in 1924 and operated by Slovenian immigrants. The intimate, four-bedroom home still has its original tin ceiling and mountain town touches like a massive buffalo head in the dining room and a private saloon. Or take it easy and explore the surrounding trails by foot or bike. A sauna, hot tub, and fire pit await back home in the courtyard and après is steps away in the home’s private cabin-like bar.

Each of the four bedrooms offers something unique, like the roll top tub in the Trappers Room and a tiny library and reading nook in the Rainbow Room. All four bathrooms have steam showers and heated floors. Ideal for families and small groups of friends, the house can also be booked in conjunction with a nearby home.

The house is full of fun, quirky touches and eclectic art, including Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead concert posters. A large private courtyard is where guests unwind after the day’s adventures, be it in the copper hot tub, outdoor sauna, or around the fire pit.

Wake to the smell of brewing coffee and warm pastries. A chef-prepared breakfast will fuel you through a morning of alpine adventures. Have lunch back at the lodge or picnic in an alpine meadow. In the evening, guests can stay in and have our chef prepare a dinner showcasing ingredients from our favorite Colorado purveyors. Or head out and experience some of Crested Butte’s restaurants, including a classic steakhouse, funky pizzeria, and a rum distillery with a street-food inspired menu.

This former Croatian saloon still has its Wild West facade, but the interiors have been transformed with reclaimed iron from the old mills in town and generous amenities, like an indoor saltwater pool and rooftop hot tub. Each of the six guest rooms is slightly different, with a mix of elegant and rustic touches, including earth-toned furnishings, jute rugs, and exposed wood beams. If you’re visiting from sea level, an oxygen-enriched air system can be activated by the flip of a bedroom switch to help fight the effect of high altitude, ensuring a good night’s sleep.

You’ll have access to the open kitchen and its well-stocked fridge 24-7. A five-stool bar, stocked with craft Colorado spirits and fine wines, opens into the media room, which features a drop-down projector screen. Active guests can swim in the indoor saltwater pool or hit the fully equipped gym. After a day of hiking and SUP boarding, recover with a steam or sauna, and stargaze from the rooftop hot tub.

Wake to the smell of brewing coffee and sizzling bacon. A chef-prepared breakfast will fuel you through a morning of alpine adventures. In the evening, our chef prepares a dinner showcasing ingredients from our favorite Colorado purveyors.
