Day 1
Marrakesh
Arrival at Menara Airport. Welcome by our guide and then transfer to hotel at the Medina. Dinner and overnight at the Riad.
Day 2
Marrakech / Ouarzazate (200km drive)
After breakfast, your excursion starts with an early departure to Telouet via the Atlas mountains, crossing the Tizi Ntichka pass (2,260 meters), a visit to the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet (lunch in the place). In the afternoon, you will head to Ait Ben Haddou (a beautiful Kasbah which has been given UNESCO World Heritage Status) via the Ounila valley with its Berber villages. Later we continue on to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the Riad.
Day 3
Ouarzazate - Skoura - Kelaa M'gouna - Tinghir - Toudra Gorges - Tinjdad - Merzouga (350 Km drive, plus 40 Km off-road)
After breakfast, we will go to Skoura by the road of a thousand kasbah, including a visit of the amredhyle kasbah. The route rises to the Capital of Kelaa Mgouna, then Boumalne, followed by Tinghir. We drive up to the Todra Gorge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will go to Erfoud via the Tinjdad and Tourog palm groves, stopping in Erfoud to see the fabrication of marbre and fossils. Later, we continue to the impressive Merzouga dunes of Erg Chebbi, where we leave the car behind in favor of camels to admire the sunset and spend the night under Berber tents deep in the sand dunes. Dinner and over night in a Bedouin tent.
Day 4
Merzouga – Alnif – Tazarine – Zagora (300km drive)
Early morning optional two hour camel ride to witness a beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we will leave this peacefully magical world by heading towards Zagora. As one of our guests said once about Merzouga “I don’t think there is a more peaceful and mysterious place on Earth than that.” We will pass through the Berber villages of Alnif and Tazzarine enroute to Zagora. An excursion to the famous Tamgroute library with its very old Koranic scripts dating back to the 12th
century is not to be missed. Dinner and overnight at the Riad.
Day 5
Zagora - Taznagkt / Taliouine / Ouled Berhil – Taroudant (250km drive)
Leaving Zagora and heading off to Taroudant through several amazing towns, like Taznaghte, where the original Berber carpets are made, and Taliouine. We continue to Taroudant, one the Imperical Cities of Morocco. Dinner and night at the Riad.
Day 6
Taroudante – Agadir (80km drive)
After Breakfast, we visit the Medina and then make our way to Agadir after lunch. Ample free time in the afternoon to relax on the beach. Overnight & dinner at the Riad.
Day 7
Agadir – Essaouira (180 km drive)
After breakfast, we visit Agadir, a modern touristic city known for its luxury hotels and clubs, gardens, birds valleys, and museum of traditional Moroccan art. We then head to Essaouira with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast through Argane Trees Forests and Bananas Plantations, including visiting Berber fisherman's houses and wild and beautiful beaches along the coast. We stop for lunch at Sidi Kaouki, before continuing to Essaouira and using the remainder of the day to explore the Medina and listen to Gnaoua music. Overnight and dinner at the Riad.
Day 8
Essaouira
Sightseeing of Essaouira, one of the oldest colonial cities on the Atlantic coast, once occupied by Portugal. Essaouira has become one of Morocco's most popular coastal towns. Many of
the country's wood carvers and artists make Essaouira their home, with wonderful wooden objects made from local thuja trees. The city has enormous things to see, including the Portuguese ramparts and red walls surrounding the city, . Overnight and dinner at the Riad.
DAY 9
Essaouira – Marrakech (175km drive)
After breakfast, we drive towards Marrakech through juniper & Argans forest. Afternoon is for a guided visit and sightseeing of the medina and the Djemaa el Fna Square - filled with story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and folklore dancers, gardens, museums, and madrasas. Overnight and dinner at the Riad.
Day 10
Marrakech
Continue the visit and sightseeing of the Marrakech medina & souks. Afternoon free time to do some last shopping for souvenirs. Overnight and dinner at the Riad.
Day 11
Depart Marrakech
End of our service, Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
