Brittany Kane Custom Trip

WHAT MAKES THIS ADVENTURE SPECIAL:

A week of slow adventure in the Alentejo.

Spend your days moving through Portugal’s countryside in a way that feels both active and deeply restorative, walking quiet trails, cycling between villages, and paddling still waters, while returning each evening to a place that feels like home.

You’ll be based at a small, family-run farm in the Alentejo, where life moves at a different pace. Mornings begin slowly. Meals are shared. And each day offers a new way to experience the landscape on foot, by bike, or on the water.

  • Arrive in Lisbon and transfer from the airport into the countryside to our home for the week near Évora.

Settle into the rhythm of the farm - wide open skies, quiet surroundings, and a slower pace of life. In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome drink and shared dinner, easing into the days ahead together.

    Overnight at Monte do Serrado

  • Our first full day begins simply—on foot.

We’ll head out for a gentle hike through the Alentejo landscape, moving past olive groves, cork forests, and small villages that feel unchanged by time. This is a day to arrive not just physically, but mentally, letting the noise of travel fall away.

Afternoon is open for rest, time on the land, or connecting with the other people on the farm.

    Overnight at Monte do Serrado

  • Bike towards Igrejinha, one of the most picturesque villages in the Alentejo, known for its bright white houses painted with colorful stripes.

The day is rich in visits to local producers, it's hard to select in between the many choices.

You will ride through peaceful countryside and hardly meet any cars.

Discover how cork is harvested, sorted and transformed, and learn about the countless uses of this extraordinary natural material and one of Portugal’s most iconic exports. All this in a guided visit to the Cork factory.
